The Friends of Hawaii Robotics (Friends) Board of Trustees would like to announce the unique opening of a special grant opportunity. 

We are all very much aware and sensitive to how our robotics students have been affected by the cancellations of program tournaments and championship events. The grants, supported by two major corporate partners, are intended to assist Hawaii school teams that have been impacted by the current worldwide health situation. 

 If interested in applying, please complete this brief Grant Application by April 1, 2020. One grant application per school. In order to support as many schools as possible, grants are limited to $500 per school. 

Only completed applications will be reviewed by the Board. Notification of grant award will be made by May 1, 2020. 

Our regular grant season is schedule for August/September 2020. This date could change pending the ever-changing state and world circumstances.

Grant Review Process

It is the goal of FoHR to execute a fair and efficient review process so that team can be notified in a prompt manner. Each grant application will go through several layers of review, including a detailed recommendations by the FoHR Grant Committee and, ultimately by the entire FoHR Board of Directors for a final decision.
