FIRST Robotics Rookie Grants

2017-2018 Grant Season Application

Grants for the 2017 - 2018 are now available for the following programs: Jr. FLL, FLL, FTC, Botball, VEX and VEX IQ.

Applying for a FoHR grant can be downloaded by clicking the grant application below. There are several questions that must be answered thoughtfully and in detail. It is important to submit the completed grant application before the deadline. Any applications received after the designated closing day will not be reviewed. The Friends of Hawaii Robotics (FoHR) has various program grant seasons each year. During these set time-frames, schools/teams should fill out the FoHR grant application in detail and adhere to all application guidelines. Awards may include Kit of Parts or select components, national registration fees, and local registration fees.

All grants must be submitted by September 15, 2017 at 5:00 pm HST. No late grants will be accepted. Grant Review Process

It is the goal of FoHR to execute a fair and efficient review process so that team can be notified in a prompt manner. Each grant application will go through several layers of review, including a detailed recommendations by the FoHR Grant Committee and, ultimately by the entire FoHR Board of Directors for a final decision.
